Subject: Small Group!!!
We wanted to send out a quick "info" message to let everyone know that we attended ConnectNow this morning at the Rossview Campus to try to fill up our "small" group a little more. Good news... We succeeded!!! We now have more of a "medium" group. Ben said that meetings at our house could be considered Grace South Campus ;) Our numbers are about 31 total people including all of our returning members. We had people seeking out our group (thanks to many props from Jim and Mary at the welcome table).
Shelly and I are excited and a bit nervous about opening up our beloved small group to new people. We will all have the opportunity to be blessed by numerous new perspectives as we study God's Word. Please remember that you are the "foundation" of this new group! Each of you are special to us, and we feel blessed to get to spend our Wednesday evenings with you all! Shelly and I highly regard your opinions and discussion during our gatherings, and hope that each of you would be willing to continue to open up and assist in developing topics that grow our new group into what we have all grown to love about our original group... real, genuine, fun and interesting people seeking to connect with others to further their understanding of and relationship with our Heavenly Father.
We will send out a detailed message to everyone once we receive the new members' info from Ben. This Wednesday, we plan to meet at our house (4453 Brookhaven Terrace) at 6:30pm. Shelly and I will supply the meal for our first meeting with everyone. We plan to eat and spend the evening with introductions from everyone and hope to discuss topics of interest for study. Bring your appetite and smiling faces!!!
